Bloomington Jefferson High School’s fall musical theater production of Oklahoma! earned awards as part of the Hennepin Theatre Trust’s SpotLight Musical Theatre Program.
The SpotLight Musical Theatre Program recognizes individual and group accomplishments in performance and production while encouraging the development of performing arts in the Twin Cities.
Jefferson received an Honorable Mention for its Overall Performance of Oklahoma. Individual honorable mention awards went to Chelsey Graunke for an Outstanding Performance in a Leading Role as Ado Annie, True Benson in a Supporting Role for playing Ali Hakim, and Noah Nieting and Chris Bernard for the parts of Curly McClain and Will Parker respectively.
Jefferson was among 46 other schools statewide competing for recognition in one or more of the award categories.
