Global Celebration Entertains on the East Lawn

A variety of food, crafts, dances and music contributed to the 4th annual Global Celebration.  The event was on the east lawn of the Bloomington Civic Plaza and organized by the Human Services Division of the City of Bloomington.

Food included gyros, tamales and Moroccan bread.  Free crafts for children represented the countries of Australia, Vietnam, South Africa, and Guatemala.  Special wares came from India, Jamaica, Peru, South Africa and the Middle East. The entertainment represented China, Russia, the Middle East, Germany, the Caribbean and Uganda.
