Poplar Bridge Team Heads to Destination ImagiNation Global Finals

Poplar Bridge Elementary School’s fifth-grade Destination ImagiNation team is advancing to the DI Global Finals in Tennessee next month after placing second at the state competition last Saturday.

The “Um…they’re Not Here Today” team of fifth graders Kaija Johnson, Ben Van Hoever, Ben Kasahara, David Elliott, Claire Strawman, Jackie Smith and Chris Struck, are managed by Sue Kasahara, Ellen Strawman and Sophie Kasahara.

Teams finishing first or second in their respective state, regional or country’s finals will compete at the Global Finals, May 23-26 at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
